Bistrica and its adjacent nine holiday areas with resort status within the Municipality of Sofia, Sofia-city District,are designated as luxury residential area, designed for low buildings in a natural environment, located at the foothills of Vitosha mountain, 10 km southeast of downtown. In the area "Oreshkovitsa" in the territory of s.Bistitsa, Pancharevo, Sofia, is provided for permanent residential occupation gated.
